Universalstræk

Øvelsen hedder “universalstræk”, da den strækker stort set hele kroppen godt og grundigt ud. Hvis du laver øvelsen i 5 minutter til den ene side, lover jeg dig, at du vil kunne mærke, hvordan hele den ene halvdel af din krop er blevet mere afspændt – og du vil endda højst sandsynligt kunne mærke, at dit ene ben er blevet længere end det andet – bare fordi musklerne slapper mere af!
For at skabe balance i kroppen må du naturligvis lave øvelsen lige lang tid på begge sider

Fremgangsmåde:
Læg dig på ryggen. Bøj dit højre ben, og træk knæet ind mod brystet (billede 1). Hold venstre ben så strakt og afspændt som muligt imens. Bliv her i 5-10 ind- og udåndinger.
Når du har lyst til at fortsætte, lægger du dig helt ud på din venstre side, så højre knæ kommer i jorden, og højre hofte ligger ovenpå venstre (billede 2). Læg dig så godt til rette her, at du i princippet ville kunne lægge dig til at sove.
Løft så din højre arm op mod loftet, alt imens du stadig holder dit højre knæ i jorden (billede 3). Hvis dette føles som rigeligt, stopper du bare øvelsen her. Hvis du har lyst til at gå videre, begynder du langsomt at lade den højre arm søge skråt bagud (billede 4). Højre hånds håndflade vender opad, og knæet er stadig i jorden. Nu vil du måske kunne mærke et stræk hen over højre side af brystet, måske også omkring skuldrene.
Når du føler dig tilpas her, kan du langsomt lade din højre arm smelte længere og længere ned mod gulvet (billede 7 og 8). Du skal ikke regne med at armen kommer hele vejen ned til gulvet i første omgang – det tager lang tid før musklerne bliver smidige nok til at kunne gøre det. Nyd i stedet, hvordan de stramme muskler henover forsiden af brystet får sig et velfortjent stræk – og så er det fuldstændig ligemeget, hvor langt den højre arm kommer ned!
